The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and the Metrobank Foundation recognized three exceptional soldiers for their outstanding service and contributions to the country during an awards ceremony on September 23 at Camp Aguinaldo in Quezon City.
The 2025 Metrobank Foundation Outstanding Filipinos – Award for Soldiers (MFOFAS) honored Colonel Joey Fontiveros of the AFP Cyber Command, Colonel Ricky Canatoy of the 4th Infantry Division, and UO1 (Underwater Operationsman 1st Class) Anro Anthony Turallo of the Naval Special Warfare Force.
AFP Chief of Staff General Romeo Brawner Jr. and Metrobank Foundation President Philip Francisco Dy presided over the ceremony to recognize the military personnel who have shown exceptional dedication beyond their regular duties.
